How we work

Our methodological principles:

Participation transformative

All voices count. We generate safe spaces and horizontal where the people involved and can express their needs and have an impact on the whole process.

Collective appropriation

We understand the plans as political tools live. Accompany you because people will make their own, understand and commit to implementing them.

Empowerment feminist

The processes that activate strengthen capacities: introduction of critical tools, common language and a strategic view to incorporate the gender perspective into the day-to-day.

Normative principles that guide us
We are working in alignment with state regulations and international human rights, gender and social justice. We were inspired by instruments such as:
• The Spanish Constitution and THE 3/2007 for the effective equality of women and men, and the Law 17/2015 of effective equality of women and men.
• The Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS).
• The CEDAW (Convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women).
• The Istanbul Convention for the prevention of and fight against male violence.

These are the principles that cross our methodology:
1. Gender mainstreaming in all phases and areas of policy.
2. Co-responsibility and balance in the work and cures.
3. Eradication of male violence as a collective responsibility.
4. Empowerment of women as a transformative agent.
5. Equal participation and inclusive democracy.
6. Perspective of women, with recognition of diversities.
7. Social justice and redistribution as a basis of equality.
8. Communication is inclusive and non-sexist, in all formats.

"Equality can't be an exception. It has to be a way of doing, of thinking, and transform"
