Marta Macias Quesada (Sant Carles de la Ràpita, 1965) is a degree in Law and master's degree in gender equality, with specialized training in international cooperation and finance. Created and powered, 2014, the focus of gender and human rights-based (EGiBDH) as the basis of the public policy of cooperation for the development of Catalonia, subsequently recognised to the Law 17/2015 effective equality. He has been general director of Cooperation of the Government of the Generalitat, the director of the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation advisor, UNFPA, and director of the Foundation Action Aid in Catalonia and the Balearic islands. It has a long history of activism, the third sector and the private company, combining experience in strategic, legal, and communication. Since 2016, leads Coop4equality and president of the association Forgender Seal, from where he has promoted the creation of the first certification standard of equality for government and educational centers (SG CITY 50-50). He has devised and directed communication campaigns feminist and has participated in projects of cooperation, in addition to 12 countries in the Global South. Is a councillor of the Observatory Woman Undertaken and Economics (Barcelona Chamber of Commerce), a member of the Commission of Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat, the National Council of Women of Catalonia, of the Association 50a50 and of the board of the Agency of News The Independent.
